Primax needed a reliable Google product feed for their Shopware 6 store that would not buckle under a large catalog. We built a custom plugin that streams the feed efficiently and set up their analytics and search visibility.
The challenge
Generating a full product feed in one pass can exhaust server memory on a large catalog. The feed had to be accurate, performant, and easy to keep running, while the store also needed proper analytics and search-engine indexing.
What we built
Custom UhGoogleFeed plugin
A purpose-built Shopware 6 plugin generates the Google product feed using raw DBAL SQL for speed and a StreamedResponse, so the feed is sent as it is built.
Memory-safe generation
Products are processed in batches of 50, keeping memory usage flat no matter how large the catalog grows.
Analytics and SEO
GA4 was configured through the Shopware analytics tab, and the sitemap was submitted to Google Search Console for indexing.
